Health & Fitness Support

New postby weezypops » Wed Dec 30, 2009 4:17 pm

From Jan 1st there will be a Health and Fitness special on the website and I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated thread where people can ask for help and support. I know there is also the weight loss support thread but it would be nice if people who'd never posted before joined in and I thought this might be less intimidating.

I've asked Sam (Mummy2Jayden), Claire (Clairebear) and Jacqui (JACQUI/jacqui.holly.lilly) to be health/weight loss gurus for the month as they've all done so well in the last year when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but anyone is welcome to share too.

So share your success stories, ask for help or just chat about your efforts!

Good for you claire, hope you succeed this time around. Ill be back on it tomorrow and I am ACTUALLY glad to be going back on it. Ive had my fair share of naughty food and I feel sluggish and my skin has been awful! Dreading the weigh in, hoping ive not put on TOO much! The goal is to lose another stone plus any holiday weight in the next few months then go from there!

We're all back it as of yesterday (apart from the ice cream at the bell, we did really well) - doing more exercise on the Wii fit plus now too!! Certainly starting to feel the burn!!

I wana get on this post, I would like to lose a stone or so.
I find that if i get on the stepper at home and the mini weighst out i feel better for doing it and keeps me active.
Play the wii of an evening or darts  instead of lounging around in front of the tv which i do... naughty me.

Good Luck to you all whos doing this. x
